FeeX to Pontera Name Change

Advisors raised concerns that their existing name, FeeX, was not aligned with the service that they provided to you and your end clients. As a company that prides itself on listening to their partners, they heard that feedback and took action.

As a result, the decision was made to change their name to Pontera. “Pont” is Latin for “bridge” and they aspire to be the bridge that connects advisors to their clients’ retirement needs, and even more importantly, the bridge that helps millions of people reach a better retirement.

What does this mean for you?

No action is required on your part. In the coming months, you will receive updates on anything that will be changing. Until then, please continue to log in to the platform as you always have, using advisor.pontera.com.

Some client-facing pages will also continue to use the FeeX name (and any links that you have sent to clients will continue to work as they did before).

Download and sign the Wealthcare/Pontera Advisor Agreement and return to training@wealthcarecapital.com.
An onboarding call will be scheduled with the Pontera training team once the agreement is ratified.

Advisor Agreement

The advisor agreement must be signed before the advisor can access the Pontera system and prior to clients being added. Download and sign the Wealthcare/Pontera Advisor Agreement and return to training@wealthcarecapital.com.

LPL External Custodian Form

LPL advisors wanting to use Pontera must submit he advisor must submit the LPL External Custodian (F473-R) form to LPL compliance at mailbox@lpl.com.

This form must also be signed by Mark Bredin.

Not Immediate Onboard when client links account – takes approx. 48 hours to complete. Advisor will get an email confirmation when it’s complete.

Client Best Practices:

Remind the client that the forwarding contact information must stay on the account in order for you to manage the account.

Make sure that the client is aware of the new forwarding phone number or email address. The client will be notified by the financial institution when Pontera adds the forwarding phone number or email address to their account during the account connection process.
